Another short piece. This one is one sentence long, begins and ends with the word ‘one, ‘ and is one hundred and one words long!

  1. I suspect you have not yet been canonized by whatever literary popes send people to worship at official grottoes, and yet, having read these two of your latest fictions, I have this vision of you finding your niche….


    • The plan, ma très chère amie, is to write 100 word epics for a time, and then, at a leisurely pace, say within three or four decades, graduate to 250 word quasi-novels, for these little miniatures, preludes as I like to call them, are the perfect vehicle for me to quote from the Merchant of Venice and some of my other work and to use, following your lead, the word chrysanthemum poetically.
