  1. A beautiful picture. I had no idea that a juniper grows where you live. In Texas we call the native or “wild” ones cedar.

    • We have the same pseudo-dyslexic affectation in that we call our juniper a cedar! (Our beloved Bermuda Cedar–admittedly a juniper.) Juniperus bermudiana is endemic to Bermuda. The wood is highly prized in shipbuilding since it is very hard wood but also light.
